Structural characteristics of Y-type globe valve

Release time:2019-05-20 17:19:00

The Y-shaped forged steel valve has three types of valve cover designs.
The first is the bolted bonnet design. Valves designed in this style have their valve body and bonnet connected using bolts and nuts, and sealed with spiral wound gaskets (made of 316 stainless steel with flexible graphite). If the customer has special requirements, metal rings can also be used for connection.
The second design form is a welded valve cover. Valves designed in this form have their valve body and valve cover connected by threads and sealed with full welding. When customers have special requirements, full welding with two connections can also be adopted.
The third type is the pressure-self-tightening valve cover. Valves designed in this manner have their valve body and valve cover connected by threads, with internal pressure self-sealing rings for sealing. They can be designed as Y-shaped valves, including globe valves and check valves.
